
I am a proud Bay Area Native who immigrated to Berkeley, CA, with my family from Rangoon, Myanmar (formerly Burma), in 1992. As the daughter of a linguist and a trilingual speaker herself, I have always had a keen interest in languages, which I believe eventually led to my passion for becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our puppy named Kona. I also currently play in tennis leagues around the Bay Area.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University in Health Science with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy and my Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from California State University East Bay. I found my love for pediatrics while working professionally as a Recreation Therapist for Shriners Children's Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.
